Swim the Suck is a 10-mile open water swim through the scenic Tennessee River Gorge in Chattanooga, TN, attracting swimmers from across the U.S., and sometimes beyond, set against the scenic views of the gorge’s beautiful canyon walls.

The 8th Annual Swim the Suck 10-mile open water swim through the Tennessee River Gorge hosted by the Chattanooga Open Water Swimmers (C.O.W.S) and Outdoor Chattanooga was held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 starting at the Suck Creek Boat Launch and finishing at Tennessee River Gardens.
